Amos J Paul is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in building performance-sensitive products and computer networking on a Linux environment. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Cloudflare, Inc. where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that are used to enhance the performance and security of websites. Prior to his current role, Amos worked as a Member of the Technical Staff at Big Switch Networks where he was involved in the development of a network monitoring product called Big Monitoring Fabric. He spent most of his time working on the Service node, which is a X86_64 and DPDK based appliance that can perform packet processing at speeds as high as ~14 Million frames per second. He also worked on coming up with solutions for customers using various components of the Big Monitoring Fabric. Amos predominantly works with C on a Linux environment and some Python for scripting. Amos has also worked as a System Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard where he worked in the infrastructure modules of an open source product called Openswitch. He has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. Amos has a strong technical background and is skilled in Software Engineering, Python, and infra. He is an expert in building performance-sensitive products and computer networking on a Linux environment.
